Savile Row Part 1 of 3
Great series by the BBC covering a transition on the historical Savile Row. In this episode they cover the impending opening of an A&F flagship store and what it may do to the rent. They also cover the business side of being a Savile Row tailor, which really peaked my interest. The series also covers some of the new blood on The Row by visiting the homie Patrick Grant of Norton & Sons. Very detailed series. I can’t find parts two and three. Will post when I find.

Anderson & Sheppard have introduced The Notebook. This is a daily blog that features their apprentices discussing their current work. It is great to see some of the up and coming tailors in this timeless tradition. It will be nice to see which ones become the outliers. Check it out when you get a chance.
Anderson and Sheppard is one of the original tailor shops of London’s prestigious Savile Row. Although, they moved off the Row in 2005, they continue to make some of the most impressive men’s garments such as those pictured above. Winter will be here soon which calls for a heavier suit fabric, so why not eat rice and hot dogs for a few months so that you can afford a Bespoke suit from Anderson and Sheppard

Ozwald Boateng 2011 Autumn/Winter Look Book: Making Of
I take my ques on fine tailoring from men who have made it doing what they love to do. Oz clearly takes it to the next level while others have a more subtle approach. It’s not better, it’s not worse. It’s Oz. And I wouldn’t ask for anything else. Oz seems to be toning down a bit on the more bold colors with this season. But his “distinctive” look stays true. Enjoy
Puff Drops In To The Store Before His UK Show
Hip-Hop mogul and Bad Boy legend Puff managed to squeeze in a visit to Savile Row before his big UK show, and dropped in to the Ozwald Boateng Store. Whilst down at No. 30 he caught up with the man himself and got fitted out for a few suits while he was at it.
