Style: Levis x Billy Reid Collaboration
Brand collaborations have always interested me. I have recently started to do some research on the origins of concept to present day. It’s great when brands with such a deep heritage as Levi’s can see the future and partner with talented designers such as Billy. This video follow Billy, and GQ editor Jim Moore at the Levi’s headquarters gathering inspiration for the collab. This video also has the oldest pair of jeans in the world. And yes I would still wear them today.
White Box Motion Graphics
It is a work made as the visual identity of architects office Sturdy Style.
Their corporate identity is home creating without stereotype.
The architect faces the white box symbolizing a home,
and designs harmony between the life and the environment.
By using CG, we can see his imagination graphically.
Finally he creates the ideal home with his sincere desire.
Production : TANGRAM co. ltd.
Director : Makoto Yabuki
Camera : Masashi Sasaki
Music : Takaya Murakami
Alexis Casson shoots behind to scenes of @MeloXtra Mirrors in my mind.
This is just a snippet, but what I come to expect from Melo X’s smooth and sharp delivery. I first came up on him when he was featured in @streetetiquette’s sartorial sounds video. Alexis does a great job of creating a story of a behind the scenes shoot. Her style of shooting and editing really make you anticipate the video.
Alexis came on my radar when I saw that she was a contributor for Men Of Habit. I am a huge fan of the site as well as an avid pupil of Bruce Boyer who is a phenom when it comes to Men’s style. Here is her bio
“Alexis Casson is a Brooklyn-based fashion photographer. Alexis is passionate about documenting artists and creating content for those that promote the arts. She is currently working on a documentary that explores the lives of female DJ’s.”
As we have done with other Film makers and photographers, I always want to shine a spotlight on the ones who I feel fit with the mission of this site; which is “Inspire to Create” . Alexis epitomizes that and we are proud to see that she is a person of Distinctive Taste.

GQ Creative Director Jim Moore heads to NIKEiD to design his own Air Force Ones
One of the things I really respect from NIKE over the years is their willingness to openly collaborate with influencers in the market to make the brand their own. In return you have a life long evangelist for a product because they have ownership of it. In this video you get to see how detailed one can get at NIKEid
