Straps are a fun accessory that I love. It allows me to play with colors and dress outside of my individual comfort zone. Most of the pants that I have are fitted to not really need a belt or straps. My next mission for my tailor is to add buttons to my pants so that my other straps can get more work. Fortunately, if you live in D.C. there is no shortage of thrift shops that sell used straps and buttons. Either way, just have fun with what you put on. If it feels uncomfortable, something is wrong.
